Verification Methodology & Limitations

Last updated August 2026

What verification means

A "verified" badge indicates that a business holds an active paid subscription on TrustStanding and has provided contact and business details that we have been able to confirm. Verification is a snapshot — it reflects information available to us at the stated assessment date and does not constitute an ongoing guarantee.

How scores are calculated

TrustStanding scores are based on reviews submitted by customers of the business, expressed on our 5-point rating scale. Scores represent the aggregate of verified reviews at the time of display and are updated as new reviews are published. Pro-tier reviews include additional dimensions — speed, quality and delivery of service — which contribute to the overall score.

What our verification cannot tell you

TrustStanding verification and scores reflect information available at the stated assessment date. They indicate current business standing but do not guarantee solvency, payment, performance or future conduct and are not financial, investment, legal or credit advice. Users should make their own enquiries and credit decisions before engaging any business.

Review authenticity

We take steps to detect and remove incentivised, fake or abusive reviews, but we cannot guarantee that every review describes a genuine experience. Reviews represent the opinions of the individuals who submitted them. If you believe a review is inaccurate or misleading, you can report it to us at support@internationalawardsgroup.co.uk.

Limitations of liability

TrustStanding is provided "as is". International Awards Group Ltd does not warrant that any business listing, score or review is accurate, complete or current. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited as set out in our Terms of Service. Nothing on this page affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
